1. Eligibility for Refunds
Full Refunds
- Before Development Begins: Clients are eligible for a full refund if they request it before the development phase starts. This includes situations where the project has not yet commenced or if the initial design mockup has not been approved.
- Cancellation Period: Clients may cancel their project within 24 hours of payment and receive a full refund.
Partial Refunds
- During Design Phase: If the project is in the design phase and the client wishes to cancel, a partial refund will be issued based on the amount of work completed at that time.
- During Development Phase: For projects that have progressed to development, refunds will be prorated according to the percentage of work completed up to the cancellation request.
No Refunds
- No refunds will be provided once final design files have been delivered or if the client has approved the final design.
- Refunds will not be granted if there are delays caused by lack of communication from the client or if changes are made to project requirements after work has begun.
2. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, clients must:
- Submit a written request via email to [email protected].
- Include their order number, reasons for the refund, and any relevant documentation.
- Requests must be made within 7 days of project initiation.
3. Processing Refunds
Once a refund request is approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days using the same payment method as the original transaction.
- Clients will receive a confirmation email once their refund has been processed.
4. Non-Refundable Items
Please note that the following services are non-refundable:
- Domain Registration Fees: While domain registration may be included as part of the website development package purchased by the client, once the domain is registered, it becomes the property of the client. Therefore, these fees cannot be refunded. This policy applies regardless of whether the project is completed or canceled after the domain registration has been processed.
- Hosting Fees: Hosting fees are applicable primarily to clients who have purchased custom packages that include hosting services. These fees are non-refundable. If a client cancels their hosting service before the plan’s expiration date, a prorated refund may be issued only for the unused months, excluding any promotional or free services received.
These fees are subject to third-party policies and cannot be refunded by Siteviva. We encourage clients to carefully consider their domain and hosting needs before finalizing their purchase. Feel free to adjust any wording as necessary!
5. Communication and Dispute Resolution
